In case you missed it, below is a video I published on YouTube last week documenting my recent travels from Berlin to Warsaw in Poland and then Kiev in Ukraine.
In between the pretty travel footage you are treated to me waxing lyrical about the value of travelling for girls, and travelling for a ‘special’ girl who you’ve met previously, or online, or whatever.
I’ve been using Final Cut Pro for my videos for a month or so, and this is the first slightly more complex project that I’ve put out.
OK, we’re not talking Martin Scorsese yet, but this is the realisation of a small ambition of mine – to document places I visit in video and show these locales through my eyes.
The interesting thing about video is, put anyone else in those three cities and they would likely have come away with different footage. And that being the case, video is actually a very personal form of self-expression.
There are a few minor imperfections in this, but I left them in as I wanted to get this out and move on to the next thing.
