An Update From Troy

The problem with being an addict is it’s really difficult to do anything by halves.

You either go all in, or you don’t do it at all.

And that goes for anything, whether it’s reading the classics, doing blow, fucking hot ingenues or writing articles for one’s website.

Towards the end of last year, I began thinking that I’d been posting on here too much.

After all, daily articles for eighteen months or more . . .that was a lot.

I wasn’t convinced that it was turning the dial on business much.

Perhaps I was being ‘busy’ for the sake of it.

Creating work for myself that wasn’t necessary.

And so I resolved to cut down on the number of times per week I posted.

Inevitably (perhaps) this quickly led to me creating hardly any new articles for the site over the last month or so . . . the longest period of (relative) stagnation that you’ve seen in content here since 2016.

Now, it’s not as if I’ve been resting on my laurels.

I’ve been working on a new manuscript recently, which will hopefully see the light of day soon.

And I’ve still be prominent on Twitter daily, and I’ve been sending out my daily email to subscribers.

(What do you mean you haven’t subscribed yet! Go here immediately!)

In addition, I’ve been making YouTube videos and podcasts.

Writing

But let’s face it, my main skillset is as a writer

And anyway, I am addicted to writing.

In the sense that even though when I’m doing it, I can find it painful at times.

When I’m not doing it, I miss it.

And writing daily for the blog helps me as much as it—hopefully—helps you

It helps me to collect my thoughts.

To understand how I am feeling and thinking about different things in my life.

Plus it gives me ideas for MORE content.

Yes, as counterintuitive as it sounds, the more I write, the more creative I get.

Anyway, with all of that said I think what is likely now is I will resume publishing a new article here every day from Monday to Friday.

And I’ll take a well-deserved break at weekends.

The Big G Andrew Tate

I spent a lot of Sunday and Monday prepping for, and creating, my interview with Andrew Tate.

Andrew, the outspoken 4X kickboxing champion, is a well-known figure and a big deal in this particular corner of the internet.

The interview had been on the cards for some time, but when we were finally able to get a date in that worked, I wanted to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible.

So I spent Sunday afternoon working on my questions.

Then Monday morning I got a location sorted out.

Travelled to the location.

Set up.

Met Andrew.

Recorded the 90 minute interview (complete with camera mishaps, fire alarms going off and everything).

Then spent ages uploading the content, working on thumbnails for YouTube, writing up text intros etc.

All-in-all, it was a pretty full-on day-and-a-half.

But it was worth it.

Andrew is an absolute gent, and I’m sure you’ll agree that the podcast is epic.

Certainly, guys have been saying it’s the best interview with Tate hands down.

Have a listen (if you haven’t already) and let me know what you think.

Playboy Moneymaking Video Series

The other thing you need to know about is my Playboy Moneymaking series of videos on YouTube.

Basically, this is a series of 8 videos I’m putting out every day this week. It follows the same structure as the online business course Personal Brand Mastery I released last year and gives insight into what I teach in each of the modules in that course.

If you’re interested in my business content then follow along this week as we get into the nitty gritty on how you can make money by showing off online just like I do.

(lol).

Existential Musings

All that aside, there’s a nagging feeling inside of me that I’m using all the business as a tool—a tool to stop me thinking about some far larger decisions that I’m going to have to make in the very near future.

In fact, decisions that I am more-or-less making right now, through my actions if not by virtue of having made a definitive choice.

And that is something that I need to address.

Perhaps writing more on here again will help me to do so.

Let’s see.
