A daygame book review – what a great way to start a new week, right?
After all, here we are just a few weeks away from Christmas. The girls are looking cute in their woolly hats and Xmas jumpers, and, if they’re not boyfriend-ed up already, they are almost certainly in the mood for a little positive male attention. As such, if you want to get a piece of the action then you absolutely must get your daygame on point.
Andhat being the case, Mr Tddaygame’s (Tom’s) new book ‘Daygame – Pick Up Girls Everywhere‘, comes at just the right moment. For what better time than now is there to put your head under the bonnet of daygame and really understand how it works and how you can get the best out of your approaches?
A Daygame Fan
Regular readers of this site will know that I am a big fan of daygame. While it is true that I cut my teeth as as nightgamer in the bars and clubs of Manchester and then London’s Leicester Square, these days (due, in no small part to my advancing years) daygame has become my favoured method of meeting new girls.
After all, what guy hasn’t fantasised about being able to walk up to any girl he fancies in the street, charm her, take her phone number and then date her later?
Of course, not only is this eminently achievable, but it has also been the subject of a great deal of study over the years. I remember, back in the early 2000s, when ‘daygame’ wasn’t really a ‘thing’ distinct from regular game like it is now. Then, with the emergence of players like Yad and Andy Yosha we saw it become a discipline that was formalised, codified, and then finally marketed via Daygame.com (and later other pick-up companies who jumped in on the emerging market).
Daygame.com spawned Tom Torero, of course, and in due course the so-called ‘London Daygame Model’ emerged, basically a framework that identifies and defines each stage of a daygame interaction from approach to close (which normally means getting a phone number, although of course in some circumstances you might be able to push the interaction all the way to sex on the same day.)
While the elements of the model—approach, stack, vibe, investment and close—were not entirely new (and Torero has been remained open about the debt it owes to the Mystery Method), nonetheless, it remains the most comprehensive reimagining (or at least restatement) of the principles of seduction that we have seen in the last decade. And for that reason it is the blueprint which most daygamers who have acquired learned skills worldwide are following.
Daygame Book Review Intel: Who Is Tddaygame?
Tddaygame (or Tom D) is, if you don’t know, a prolific daygamer from Warsaw. He has also blogged regularly for a number of years, coached guys and runs a popular newsletter and twitter feed. His new book is not a radical reworking of the model, but rather a welcome reminder of its key principles, augmented by his own insights.
And make no mistake, this is valuable. While regrettably the UK daygame scene has these days all-but dissolved into a fringe band of cranks and nutbag conspiracy theorists dedicated to sucking Trump’s wang, spouting bizarrely incongruous ‘conservative’ views and having nothing of value to say about actually, you know, banging girls (who are all ‘sluts’ rather than ‘high quality women’), Tom has come up with a book that will assist you in getting your pecker wet.
What ‘Daygame – Pick Up Girls Everywhere’ Contains
As is common with many books on this subject, Tom kicks off Part 1 with a reminder of the basics—social skills. Some of this stuff might seem, well, basic (and if you’re already on a decent level with it then don’t be afraid to skip ahead).
But it can’t be said frequently enough: if you’re not a properly-functioning human being before you walk out the door then don’t expect to be pulling in gold every time you walk out into the street.
As Tom D reminds us, first impressions are hugely important. And the way you come across to a new girl even more so. So you’d better learn how to flirt. Because if you don’t then you are, without a doubt, leaving money on the table.
After all: ‘being friendly does not lead to sex. It leads to the friendzone’.
Part 2 is the ‘what to do before you go out’ section. Here Tom D gets into the nitty-gritty on vibe, posture, diet, gym, clothes and all of that jazz.
Again, if you are ripped and have a wardrobe and look like David Gandy (UK male model), then feel welcome to skip forward. However, the number of guys who come to me wanting to learn how to get good with girls who haven’t even got this stuff down is incredible. Don’t fall into the same trap and don’t let yourself down.
Remember, too, that you’ve got to be interesting. As Tom D says ‘daygame can’t be your whole life‘.
Part 3 is called ‘Daygame’. OK. This is what we paid the price of admission for. The low-down on what you actually have to do in order to get girls off the street and into your bed.
There is some great advice in this section, and I’m not going to give the game away by revealing all of it. But my favourite is when Tom reminds us that, as daygamers, we can ‘eject’ at any point we want.
It may not sound profound at first, but it really is.
Just because you walked up to her doesn’t mean you have to stay talking to her for half an hour. If the vibe isn’t good, or if she isn’t as cute as you thought close up then that’s fine. Simply excuse yourself and walk away.
Ejecting from set is, as far as Tom is concerned, your ‘daygame superpower‘.
It’s a great way of thinking about it.
Part 4 is where we dive into the London Daygame Model itself.
This is (as you’d expect) the longest section of the book and certainly the most valuable for the beginner (and even the intermediate or advanced player looking to brush up).
Tom goes into great detail on all aspects of the model. His insights on stacking and vibing stand out—which is good since it is these with which most men grapple the hardest after they’ve got over the sheer terror of having to speak to a strange girl out of the blue, that is.
Part 5 gives you practical advice on various aspects of the overall daygame experience including building attraction, how to combat approach anxiety and the spotlight effect (being embarrassed to chat girls up in front of strangers).
It also talks about burnout—hugely important and something that every serious daygamer will experience from time-to-time.
Part 6 renews the book’s focus on the ‘silver tongue’, that is, on the importance of verbal game. Daygame is of course a primarily (although not exclusively) verbal value delivery mechanism, and as such you need to be on top of your game. However, that’s not always easy. Fortunately, Tom has great recommendations.
To finish up, Tom presents us with a series of daygame mantras to keep you in state and focussed, before heading into some myth-busting FAQs.
Daygame Book Review Summary
In summary, Daygame – How To Pick Up Girls Everywhere is a great refresher on the art and craft of daygame for the intermediate or advanced student and it is a valuable introduction to the basics for beginners.
Tom D was the only daygame tutor in Warsaw teaching the London Daygame model for ages, and he has certainly done his time in the daygame trenches, so you can trust that he knows what he’s talking about. His understanding of the model shines through on every page, plus he has a warm and humorous style of writing that makes the book easy and quick to read, and a pleasure throughout.
It’s also worth pointing out that the book—which is available as a downloadable PDF—is designed to a very high spec, with nice pictures of attractive girls and motivational quotes from the likes of Dale Carnegie and Robert Greene.
The full price for the book (which runs to over 100 pages of high-quality, actionable content) is $25. However, if you buy it via my affiliate link you can get it for just $20.
If you are at all interested in daygame, and would like to learn more of its inside secrets from one of the world’s best, then I highly recommend it.

If fussing over the “quality” of women is “incogruous,” then why not spare yourself the trouble of game and resort to prostitutes?
Legality aside, some must be good-looking enough, and I’m sure many other beauties could be persuaded with dollar bills.
Game steers men towards self-development, it is true. But this is undertaken to impress women, as a supplicant, and can hardly be said to be “alpha.”
Or is it the pleasure of conquest which entices you? But today’s women being whores, you’ll find they acquiese quite readily, to ourselves and a whole host of others, and so that particular satisfaction eludes us.
It is unlikely that game is merely an effort to avoid the expense of prostitutes’ fees, especially given the money men invest (more modest in the long-term, I grant) in game.
I don’t think the thoughtful daygamer aspires to the animalistic, stochastic sex life of Casanova. He is much more like an Ottoman sultan, desirous of a virginal, exclusive harem.
And ironically, the “modern” attitudes of post-1960s sexual liberation are beginning to seem dated as history takes another turn in repeating itself, at this seeming renaissance of Victorian prudery.
Because sleeping with a prostitute is not ‘the same’ – yes, the thrill of the chase does come into it.
But if you’re just looking for one-night stands then why do the girls have to be ‘high quality’.
And if you don’t like casual sex then why the hell are you a daygamer?
Therein lies the incongruity.
You might be right that they acquiesce ‘relatively’ easily – but there’s still some art to it, otherwise there would be no need for any ‘pua’ industry at all.
But you’re right about the post-60s thing seeming old-fashioned now. But still I cling to it. I am becoming an old reactionary. Rather that than a sheep, though.
