5 Steps For a Successful Night Out Meeting Hot Girls

The most important thing you need to do when you’re preparing for a night out meeting girls at the club or bar is to get your brain into ‘going out mode’.

If you work a job during the day, or even if you’re self-employed, then depending on what it is you do it’s likely that you will be in a non-social mood before heading out. Therefore it’s essential that you change your state into one more conducive to talking to girls.

Here are five things I do before I go out that really help me alter my state and get in the mood for a great evening:

1.Sleep

The first thing I tend to do before going out these days is to have a sleep. It may seem odd to start off this list talking about relaxing when presumably what you want to do is to get in a party mood, but sleeping will really help you out in two ways.

First, if like me you are no longer in your twenties and you need to conserve your energy somewhat then sleeping before heading out is a great idea. Depending on the time you have available I’d recommend either half an hour, an hour or an  hour and a half. 90 minutes is probably optimal, since we sleep in 90 min cycles but an hour can be just as refreshing.

The other thing about sleep is that it’s perhaps the best way there is to ‘hit the reset button’. After all, you are literally losing consciousness for a period of time. That, more than any other form of meditation or mindfulness, will ensure that your perspective shifts radically.

2. Work out

Working out is hugely beneficial because, like sleep, it also affects a huge change in your state. It’s very hard to be in a down, despondent mood when you’ve just finished a heavy workout in the gym. Also, as you’ll be aware, lifting weights causes a spike in testosterone, which is fantastic if you do it before going out to speak to girls. Heavy compound exercises—squats, chest press and bicep curls are best for this.

3. Bath

OK, you can have a shower as well, and the benefits of cold showers are well documented elsewhere (not something I’ve got into yet I have to say). But I really like having a bath. Not only does it feel supremely relaxing and indulgent, but I find there is also something about submerging oneself in another element (water) that really helps to shift ones state. I’m not sure why this is the case, and it feels somewhat metaphysical, but for me it works really well.

4. Facial Scrub

Less about changing state this time, but a handy tip if you’re tired after a long day. Get a good facial scrub and use it before you go out. You’ll be surprised how much this can freshen up your skin and make you feel and look energised.

5. Music

An obvious one but nothing changes one’s mood quite as effectively as music. I always put a few banging tunes on before I hit the club or bar. Don’t feel tempted to delve into your Leonard Cohen collection—now is the time for house music, RnB, hip-hop or anything that’s going to fill you will energy and a happy vibe.
